About Us

We are the Claretian Missionaries United States – Canada Province founded in Vic, Spain, in 1849 as the Missionary Sons of the Immaculate Heart of Mary by Saint Anthony Mary Claret. Arriving in Mexico in 1884 and the United States in 1902, the Congregation expanded rapidly. We are an international, Roman Catholic Religious Congregation of priests, brothers, and seminarians. Like our founder, Saint Anthony Claret, we are committed to the teachings of Jesus Christ and strive to respond to the needs of God’s people.

We invite you to explore and partner with us through our vision, our ministries, and our history on these pages. Please pray that God continues to bless us and the people we serve to build God’s kingdom of justice and peace. Continue to pray that God sends us holy missionaries to carry on the work begun by Saint Anthony Mary Claret in 1849.

We dream of a pilgrim congregation, following the example of Mary, treasurers in it heart fulfills and proclaim the Word of God.
