Claretians in Québec Celebrate with Ecumenical Music Festival
On January 17, 2016, at the Parish of Notre-Dame-de-Protection (Our Lady of Protection), Archbishop Luc Cyr of the Archdiocese of Sherbrooke and around 80 people from different churches and cultures came together to celebrate with an ecumenical music festival. The festival was part of the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity, which took place from January 18–25, 2016. During the celebration we sang in French, Spanish, and English and shared some delicious food. It was truly a precious moment filled with fraternity, unity, and hope. Let us continue to work for peace and unity in our parishes and communities through dialogue and sharing during these encounters.
